The CXF Price Index tracks CarbonXFuture's indicative assessments for waste-oil carbon credits (CXF US Gulf, CXF Re-refining) alongside major voluntary registry benchmarks. Marks are set by the desk, not exchange-traded prices — see the methodology note below.
What CXF credits add on top of the physical value of used oil, at current desk marks and the CXF Methodology v1.0-draft factors (pending independent expert opinion; CXF-CO is eligibility-gated and CXF-FC is not offered). This is the number that turns collection volumes into a second revenue line.
The CXF Price Index is open for research and integration. Pull the full history programmatically (JSON) or download the CSV above. Attribution required: "Source: CXF Price Index — carbonxfuture.com".

Methodology. CXF marks are indicative assessments set by the CarbonXFuture desk based on documented bids, offers and counterparty indications in waste-oil carbon credits, cross-checked against relevant public market benchmarks. As desk transactions complete, they will be incorporated into the assessment basis. They are published for information only: they are not exchange-traded settlement prices, not an offer to buy or sell, and not financial advice. Registry benchmark levels (Verra, Gold Standard, ACR/CAR, Plan Vivo) are desk observations of the broader voluntary market. History accrues weekly from the date each mark is first published; revisions are not made retroactively. Read the full index methodology →
